If you suspect that something is wrong with your teeth and/or gums, but cannot quite place a finger on it, come to us and let us identify and address your concerns.
Preventative Dental Procedures
In order to maintain a healthy smile, we recommend routine cleanings at least two times per year for most patients. Some patients may need more frequent visits to help maintain a healthy mouth focusing on gum and bone health. All of our healthy smile appointments include a complimentary paraffin hand wax for you to enjoy during your visit!
Our Hygienists specialize in a variety of different cleaning methods such as: hand scalers, ultrasonic scalers, prophy jet, and traditional polish. We strongly recommend the application of fluoride for both children and adults, to help prevent tooth decay. Sealants are also offered as a preventative material on molar teeth to help prevent cavities within deep crevices of your teeth.
Periodontal Health Diagnosis
Residents of Greenville can approach our family dentistry office for a full checkup of their mouth. Dr. Derrick conducts a complete comprehensive exam as well as an oral cancer screening at the completion of your dental appointment. Any treatment findings at this time will be discussed in detail, and also visually shown on a TV monitor. At check out, we will give you a treatment plan and go over any financials with you. If additional questions arise concerning your hygiene care or treatment, please do not hesitate to ask!
